A LARGE emergency service presence was seen in Wickford with seven ambulance service vehicles responding to a “medical emergency”.
On Saturday morning, at around 10.30am, almost a dozen emergency service vehicles were seen in Victoria Crescent, in Wickford.
This included two ambulances, four Hazardous Area Response Team vehicles, an ambulance officer vehicle, Essex and Herts Air Ambulance, fire engines and police.

Bosses at the East of England Ambulance Service has confirmed it was due to a medical emergency.
A spokesman for the East of England Ambulance Service said: "Two ambulances, four Hazardous Area Response Team vehicles, an ambulance officer vehicle and Essex and Herts Air Ambulance were called to a private dwelling in Wickford on Saturday following reports of a man with a medical emergency."
Essex Fire did not provide a comment as the response was led by the ambulance service.
Essex Police was also contacted for comment by the Echo.
