Police shut off a major Essex road in both directions as a helicopter landed on the carriageway while emergency services deal with an incident.
The A130 was closed off both ways due to a helicopter landing on the southbound carriageway at the Rettendon Turnpike, according to Essex County Council traffic control.

A long stretch of the road had been closed from the A12 to Runwell Road in south Essex. The helicopter has now left the scene and the road has been re-opened, although traffic remains.
AA reports the road is blocked "due to recovery work".
Essex Police and East of England Ambulance Service have been contacted for comment.
